Tim Pearson will join Sky from Omnicom in March following 21 years with the media group where he is currently OMD Group UK CEO. He will take responsibility for leading Sky Media’s UK operations, as well as Sky’s European agency relationships, reporting to Sky UK & Europe Chief Business Officer, Patrick Béhar.
John Litster will remain at Sky until the end of 2021, working closely with Patrick Béhar and further building Sky’s pan-European agency relationships, as Sky implements its strategy to better leverage the group’s scale across the continent to better serve its clients and partners.
Ruth Cartwright also joins the Sky Media leadership team and has been appointed Director of Investment for Sky Media UK, succeeding long-standing Sky Media Director, Duncan Wynn. Joining from Dentsu Aegis, Ruth Cartwright will lead the sales team across Sky Media UK, driving revenue growth across all Sky Media’s products, propositions and capabilities from April.

John Litster said: “I have loved my time at Sky. I have spent 25 years in the best of media businesses, working with great clients and colleagues a lot of whom have become great friends. It has been a pleasure and privilege to have the best job in town, and I look back with pride at what the Sky Media team have achieved knowing they are in very good hands in Tim going forward.”

Sky Media represents all of Sky’s channels and also sells on behalf of a range of major broadcasters and channels including Channel 5, Viacom, Discovery Networks and most recently, BT Sport.
